Eliminates Cable and Conversion Loss

Compared to using an X-to-cable (X2C) adapter setup, the signal path incurs additional conversion losses. The Mimosa radio first converts the electrical signal into RF energy, which the X2C adapter then converts back into an electrical signal for transmission over coaxial cable. The coaxial cable itself introduces further loss, and a second X2C adapter at the antenna converts the signal back into RF energy. Each of these conversion steps adds extra loss, compounding the cable loss and lowering the overall link efficiency.

Quick Installation

The twist-on interface attaches directly to Mimosa B6x, B5x, C6x, and C5x radios, offering a simple antenna solution for Mimosa X connector setups.
