Mimosa Networks is a wireless broadband technology company that develops high-performance fixed wireless solutions for internet service providers, enterprises, and telecommunications operators worldwide. Founded in Silicon Valley in 2012, Mimosa specializes in delivering cost-effective alternatives to fiber-optic infrastructure through advanced point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) wireless networking technologies. The company focuses on enabling reliable broadband connectivity in dense urban environments, rural communities, and other hard-to-reach areas where traditional fiber deployment may be expensive or impractical. In 2023, Mimosa became a wholly owned subsidiary of Radisys Corporation, which is backed by Reliance Jio. Its product portfolio includes wireless backhaul radios, access points, client radios, and cloud-managed networking solutions designed to maximize spectral efficiency, increase network capacity, and reduce interference. Mimosa technologies are widely used by WISPs to deliver high-speed internet services, surveillance connectivity, public safety communications, hospitality networking, and enterprise broadband deployments across the world.
